Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently
delete your BrainQ account and all associated data.

1. Delete from the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the BrainQ app.
Follow these steps:

Open BrainQ on your device.

Scroll down to the Data section.

Choose your preferred deletion method:
- Schedule Deletion — 15-day grace period
during which you can cancel the request.
- Delete Immediately — Permanent and
irreversible. Cannot be undone.

Type DELETE to confirm your request.
⚠️ Important: You must be signed in to your Google
Play Games account to delete your cloud data. If you are not signed
in, only local data deletion is available through
Settings → Delete All Data.
2. Request via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually,
you can email us:
Include in Your Email
- The Google account email used to sign in to BrainQ.
- Subject line: "BrainQ Account Deletion Request"
- Any additional details to help us identify your account.
We will process your email deletion request within
30 days as required by applicable data protection
laws including GDPR and CCPA. You will receive a confirmation email
once your data has been deleted.
3. What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is
permanently removed from our servers:
⚠️ Permanently Deleted:
- Your Firebase authentication account and credentials
- All cloud-synced game progress (completed levels, scores)
- Achievement data and unlock progress
- Daily challenge history and streak records
- Google Play Games achievement sync data
- Cloud-stored settings and preferences
- Account deletion request records (after processing)
This action is consistent with
Section 6 (Data Storage & Security) and
Section 8 (Your Rights & Choices) of our
Privacy Policy, as well as
Section 4 (User Accounts) of our
Terms of Service.
4. What Data Is Retained
The following data may be retained after account deletion in
accordance with our
Privacy Policy — Data Retention:

- Authentication account
- Game progress (cloud)
- Achievements
- Streak & challenge data
- Play Games sync data
- Cloud preferences
📦 Retained (Anonymous)
- Aggregated analytics (14 months)*
- Crash reports (90 days)*
* Retained data is
fully anonymous and cannot be
used to identify you. Retention periods are governed by
Google Firebase's data policies.
No personally identifiable information is retained after deletion.
5. Grace Period & Cancellation
If you choose the scheduled deletion option, your
account enters a 15-day grace period before
permanent deletion.
Day 0 — Request Submitted
Your deletion request is recorded. You are signed out.
Your account is marked for deletion.
Days 1–14 — Grace Period
You can cancel the request by going to
Settings → Delete Account → Cancel Deletion.
Sign back in to access your account normally.
Day 15 — Permanent Deletion
All data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our
servers. This action cannot be undone.
✅ To cancel deletion: Open BrainQ →
Settings → Delete Account → Cancel Deletion.
This must be done before the 15-day grace period expires.
If you chose "Delete Immediately", there is no
grace period. Your data is permanently deleted as soon as the
request is confirmed.
The 15-day grace period is referenced in
Section 4 (User Accounts) of our
Terms of Service and
Section 8 (Your Rights & Choices) of our
Privacy Policy.
6. Local Data
Account deletion removes your cloud data from our
servers. Local data stored on your device is handled separately:

Deleting your account removes all cloud-synced
data. Local data on your current device may still exist.

To delete local data: Go to
Settings → Delete All Data, or simply uninstall the App.

Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored
data including game progress, preferences, and cached content.
For a complete data removal, we recommend: (1) Delete your account
(cloud data), then (2) Delete local data or uninstall the App.
This is consistent with
Section 6 (Data Storage) of our
Privacy Policy.
